Artmundi Venitara a Templar knight and an Italian nobleman finally returning home from the last crusade (circa 1491) to his estate in Verona, Italy. Only to become involved in a plot to eradicate the Templar order initiated by King Phillip the 4th of France and the current pope Clement the 5th. This action would only be the beginning to unveiling a darker evil. Through the tragic death of Armundi's wife, Desiree, and the destruction of his estate by the dark hands of the Dominium order, a band of roving vampire death dealers; directed by the underground authorities of the Vatican. Infected by the head of the Dominium order Spyridon, Artmundi has to adapt to his new circumstances with the support of his monk ally Nicholus Paulinus to embark on an incredible adventure to destroy and end the Dominium order. Requital is a story with three books; the majority of the story is placed in post mid-evil, pre-renaissance era; which dates back to the 13th century. Many of the events in this book were based on actual historical events but are taken into a fictional account. All People, locations, and events were created to facilitate the story and are not taken as facts.
