Nagarjuna's renowned 27-chapter 'Fundamental Verses on the Middle Way' ('Mulamadhyamakakarika'), the definitive, touchstone presentation of the doctrine of emptiness, is the foundational text of the Madhyamaka school of Mahayana Buddhist philosophy.
