Cervical cancer is a major health problem throughout the world especially in developing countries including India.Cancer cervix is the most commom female malignancy in India.So the present study was conducted in Regional Cancer Centre IGMC Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, to see the response to induction chemotherapy(neoadjuvant chemotherapy)followed by Radiotherapy(RT)Vs RT alone in locally advanced carcinoma cervix.This was a prospective randomized trial.
