Greenland - Jack's Trip to Greenland (Paperback)

,
Greenland, a name that is in conflict with its current state of ice, ice and more ice. It is also the land that has been in the news about its massive ice cap allegedly melting and going to cause catastrophic sea level rise. Well, that scare-mongering is a gross exaggeration of the truth, yet favoured by politicians, but not based on any proper science. Having been given the privilege of visiting this far-off land I would recommend that everyone puts a visit to this magical mystery land on their travel wish-list. Long before you touch down you may, if the weather is in your favour, view the endless white wilderness and the absolute miracle that Greenland is. It got its name from the Danish mariners who settled there when the climate was so much warmer than today and all around the edges along the coast food was grown and cattle grazed. In those distant days, few if any ever ventured higher up onto the ice cap that already existed long before the Danes discovered Greenland. Highly recommended for the free spirited and free thinkers amongst us. JACK TAYLOR BOOKS OFFER EASY TO READ STORIES AND LOT OF ORIGINAL PHOTOS.
