Agriculture is an important sector of the country economy providing basic commodity of the daily use. The total cultivated area in the province is 2.75 million ha. Charsadda is one of the 3rd important district of Peshawar division. Total area of Charsadda district is 250250 acres; with 156924 acres irrigated.The major crops grown in district Charsadda are sugarcane, wheat, tobacco and maize etc. Moreover, different types of vegetables and fruits are also grown in the district. The study is an attempt to analyze the different problems of the farmers of District. The farmer facing the problem of low literacy rate (34%), small land holding (10% farmers have less then 2 acres), weak financial position of the farmers (80%), irrigation water (66%), farm mechaneries (90%), fertilizers (62%), pesticides (62%), un-availability of labour and flood is another alarming situation for the farmers. The book in hand furnishes base line information about the farmer's problem for educationist, planer and all allied stalk holders. Therefore, it should be in every library around the country.
