Compelling Journey - A Memoir (Paperback)

This book contains what I learned about the origins of two families. The Stubbs', my paternal family, migrated from Virginia to South Carolina, to Georgia, and, finally, to East Texas. The Hamptons, my maternal family, followed much the same path from Virginia to South Carolina to Georgia to Alabama, and to East Texas. Included are first hand accounts of life on the farm and in a rural community. The last part of this effort comprises an anthology of short pieces depicting events from my own life.
