Alfred Marshall remains one of the most significant figures in the development of economic analysis. Since the publication of "Alfred Marshall: Critical Assessments" in 1982 there have been considerable developments in Marshallian scholarship. This 4-volume set contains significant new contributions, as well as some articles which have come to light since publication of the earlier set. The centenary of the first publication of Marshall's "The Principles of Economics" stimulated much new work, demonstrating the range as well as the depth of Marshall's work.
