Decent Homes for All reviews the relationship between planning and housing provision over the last hundred years in Britain. The planning system has developed in tandem with housing policy, both of which find their contemporary roots in nineteenth century urbanism. Whilst the two may have common roots historically, they often display concerns and objectives today that appear contradictory. This book considers these tensions by examining three areas.
